Proudly bringing you Devon grown flowers

LOVELY TO MEET YOU

The Byes Blooms Sidmouth Florist holding autumnal bouquet featuring sunflowers and dahlia

Hello I’m Ellie, and I love growing and arranging beautiful seasonal flowers and foliage. Backing on to The Byes nature reserve which ambles through the seaside town of Sidmouth, I grow eco-friendly blooms in my cutting garden.

As a flower grower florist, my flowering season runs April to October. During this time I love selecting and arranging the best of the cutting garden for you to gift to loved ones, to brighten your mood and home and to celebrate your special events. Fresh and full of scent, my arrangements are designed with a curated colour palette of unusual blooms, traditional favourites and textural foliage. In the festive season I love to bring you characterful wreaths woven from my homegrown foliage, seed heads and dried flowers.

I’m a hopeless romantic and love growing and arranging flowers to help celebrate your wedding. From creative couples wanting to DIY their arrangements, to intimate elopements, heartfelt ceremonies and showstopping floral explosions I’d love to help fill your day with rambling English country garden flowers. I offer full service weddings with a consultation and bespoke design service or a pick and mix menu of floral elements for smaller celebrations. Find out more about my Devon wedding flowers here.

Garden gathered, wild and whimsical flowers

My bespoke gift bouquets are available to pick up or for local delivery in Sidmouth and surrounds. I like to think of my bouquets as floral hugs that you can send from afar when you can’t be here in person. Each seed is sown, plant tended, stem cut and flower arranged with care.

In peak flowering season you can also find mixed market bunches to pick up and go from my flower stand on Primley Gardens at weekends. Keep an eye on my instagram and facebook for availability.

Devon rain, Sidmouth sunshine and a sea breeze

My feel good blooms are grown with a treading lightly ethos. I follow no dig practices, avoid single use plastics and source second hand wherever possible. Working alongside nature, I leave the ecosystem to sort the pests out and leave plenty for the pollinators. All of my packaging is reusable, recyclable or home compostable. I never use floral foam and ensure all wedding mechanics are sustainable and reusable.

I’m delighted to be a member of the Flowers From the Farm network, championing locally grown British flowers and sustainable floristry techniques. If I do not cover your area then find out more about other local flower growers here.
