Maria Rose - capturing the art of your wedding
I have long coveted one of Maria Rose’s atmospheric oil landscapes, greatly admiring the soft spontaneous way she captures dancing light and colour. I’ve promised myself that one day I’ll commission her to paint the cutting garden, although I fear my perfectionism means I’ll never quite think it looks good enough to be immortalised. Maria offers a one of a kind memento of your wedding day in her live wedding painting service. Capturing the atmosphere, unique mood and location in her dreamy impressionistic style. At a time when many wedding memories are of the fast paced digital kind, choreographed content for maximum views, there is something rebellious about embracing the slow timeless quality of an oil painting.
Maria is a Devon based award winning member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and is available for in person painting at weddings across the South of England. On your wedding day, Maria will discretely set up her easel, out of shot of the photographers, to soak up the atmosphere and sketch your day in oils. With the final finishing touches being added back in her studio and beautifully framed. Maria will also work from photographs for weddings further afield, with paintings making ideal anniversary presents.
