Forage & Wreath Workshop at Lovehayne - 30th November

£65.00

Sunday 30th November 10am - 1pm

Whether you are a seasoned wreathmaker or trying it for the first time our workshop will give you a morning of festive cheer and you'll come away with a unique wreath to adorn your door. Hosted at the beautiful Lovehayne Farm, nestled in a hidden valley just outside Colyton (EX24 6JE). You'll create a wreath capturing the Devon landscape with foliage and berries collected from the hedgerows and woodland at Lovehayne and seed heads and flowers dried and squirrelled away by The Byes Blooms. Your luxury wreath will be finished with a choice of sumptuous velvet ribbon.

Not your standard wreath workshop, you'll have a short guided forage for those extra special finishing touches in the magical Lovehayne woodland. Then we'll retreat to the twinkly workshop in Groom Cottage, warm up with mulled drinks and start crafting our wreaths. We'll provide all the materials you'll need and I'll guide you through the fully sustainable method using a willow base. I'll give tips on wreath care to help your creation last through the festive season and ideas for re-using it beyond.

Dress warmly with footwear suitable for woodland. As it may be muddy and will include natural hazards such as uneven surfaces the foraging session and workshop will not be suitable for those with mobility issues. The foraging session will last approximately 30 minutes and will be weather permitting.

Refreshments provided. Tea, coffee, mulled drinks and festive nibbles.

We’ll also have a carefully curated pop-up festive mini market featuring botanical inspired Christmas decorations, cards and gifts available to buy during the workshop.
